About Kymm.
Kymm works with adolescents and adults, and practices within trauma sensitive, person centred, neurodivergent affirming and strengths-focused perspectives. She has extensive experience supporting clients of all ages and cultures in various roles across Government, Not-For-Profit and Private sectors. Kymm is experienced in assessment and therapeutic support as well as providing secondary consultation and training for professionals within child protection, disability, community mental health and education sectors. She has contributed to the field of psychology as a research assistant and presented her research at National and International mental health conferences.
An empathetic and compassionate practitioner, Kymm offers a safe and culturally secure space to collaboratively work through problematic experiences, circumstances and life transitions. Kymm draws upon a range of evidence-based therapies and strategies and tailors support to meet individual needs. Central to Kymm’s practice is improving wellbeing and empowering clients in being the best version of themselves as possible.
Outside of work hours, Kymm enjoys time in the outdoors, taking in the Arts, developing her guitar skills and listening to music, learning something new, practicing meditation and spending time with loved ones.
