About Janine.

Janine is a dedicated and highly skilled Mental Health Accredited Social Worker with extensive experience in child protection and community services. With a Master's degree in Social Work and specialised training in relationship counselling and family dispute resolution, Janine brings a deep understanding of the complexities involved in mental health and family dynamics.

Throughout her career, Janine has worked with children, youth, and families in diverse settings, utilising her expertise in trauma therapy, family function therapy, and family mediation to foster environments of healing and growth. Her approach is deeply rooted in the principles of Acceptance, Autonomy, and Authenticity, guiding clients towards understanding and nurturing their unique identities.

Janine's therapeutic practice is built on a foundation of evidence-based methodologies, including EMDR, which she employs to address addiction, complex trauma, and a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. She strongly advocates mental health awareness, dedicating her efforts to empowering clients through personalised treatment plans that prioritise their goals and preferences.

Janine is committed to continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and therapeutic techniques to enhance her practice.
