About Bonnie.

Bonnie's approach is centred around the belief that "achieving optimal mental health is not a destination, but a journey. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going" which perfectly aligns with the core values we hold at Believe In U. 

Bonnie is a registered general psychologist with a master’s degree, having completed her studies through the 5+1 pathway and trained for six years. 

With an empathetic and gentle demeanour, Bonnie strives to create a comfortable and safe environment where clients can collaboratively work towards their therapeutic goals. She adopts a neurodiversity-affirming approach, viewing differences not as deficits but as part of the natural variation of humanity. Recognising that while support may be needed to accommodate these differences, they do not require 'fixing.'

  • Bonnie has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and works with clients across the lifespan. Bonnie has extensive experience in:

    • ADHD

    • Autism

    • Anxiety

    • Depression

    • Grief & Loss

    • Trauma

    • Interpersonal & Relationship Issues

    • Addiction

  • Bonnie employs a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, incorporating evidence-based therapies to ensure her support is tailored to suit each individuals needs.

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) 

    • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

    • Mindfulness-based Therapy

  • Bonnie currently has capacity for clients on Wednesday’s & Thursday's via Telehealth, Australia wide.
