About Andrea.

Andrea truly encompasses the values of Believe In U throughout her work as a Psychologist. She is a registered psychologist in Australia with over 10 years of clinical experience, originally trained and registered as a Clinical Psychologist in Peru.

Her practice is grounded in psychoanalytic theory and complemented by a strong commitment to humanistic and person-centred approaches. Andrea believes in the intrinsic capacity of each individual to drive their own healing journey when offered a supportive and respectful therapeutic space. Her multicultural background allows her to work with openness and sensitivity across diverse populations and life stages.

Andrea offers therapy in English and Spanish. She has worked across private practice, schools, community services, and the NDIS, supporting clients with a range of mental health needs. She is familiar with NDIS processes and has also worked in HR, recruitment, and vocational guidance.

  • Andrea supports individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She works with a broad range of mental health and behavioural challenges, including:

    She integrates practical, evidence-based strategies—such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)—to help manage immediate symptoms and day-to-day challenges. Alongside this, she engages in deeper therapeutic work, supporting clients to explore underlying emotional patterns, develop insight, and process experiences, promoting meaningful and lasting change.
