How It Works.
  • Initial Clinical Information/Background Session (or parent session for children)

This session allows your psychologist to learn more about your personal background, mental health history, daily challenges, and support needs. For children, we meet with parents or guardians to gather a detailed understanding of the child’s development and functioning.

  • Comprehensive 2 hour InterviewIn this session, we explore your ability to function across key NDIS areas like self-care, social interaction, communication, learning, and emotional regulation. This may involve structured discussions, observation, and the use of standardised assessment tools.

  • Testing & Questionnaires

You’ll be provided with additional questionnaires to complete in your own time. These help us gather deeper insight into your strengths, challenges, and day-to-day experience. For younger clients, parents or caregivers may be asked to assist.

  • Analyses & Report Writing

Your psychologist will write a detailed report outlining your current level of functioning, support needs, and professional recommendations. This report is suitable for NDIS access requests, plan reviews, or supporting evidence for increased support funding.

  • Feedback Session (optional)

Once your report is complete, you’re welcome to book a feedback session with your psychologist to review the findings together. This gives you a chance to ask questions, clarify anything, and ensure you're confident in the next steps.
